I know a lot of people really like this series. As "iconic landmarks," or "famous architecture" pieces, I do too. I like Falling Water and the Imperial Palace, well, even the White House and United Nations. But we just have no real place for them anywhere as far as I can see. And they go really fast, not much fun if you like the challenge or torture of larger pieces. -- Your questions or comments on this go here.

I am still working on this - I want to make the bridge better. Some day I will actually paint the river that goes through the town, and maybe add some things reflecting the story in the novel. I am especially interested in hearing from people who liked Timeline the book. (I know a lot of people thought the movie sucked, but I liked that too.) My husband HBP really likes the castle and the medieval houses. We may do some MOC things with this in the future. Your questions, comments on Castle/Medieval go here.
As I mentioned, this kit does not fit anything in our planned display - but I had to have it. (Same for the Ghostbusters Ecto-1.) I hide it in different places as we rearrange the board. Loved this kit, especially the fact that you can build it in different ways. Maybe a nice billboard would hide it... Your questions or comments on the BTTF Delorean would go here.
I'm a little confused about what Lego calls "Creator" and what it doesn't. Well, anyway, for us it means the Big Building Kits (not the smaller ones which are called Creator). As you can see we don't do the little action kits or vehicles as we are into large buildings. And old-fashioned not modern or themed stuff.
BTW these buildings are listed on this blog under their individual names so far. (There may be new ones in the series, who knows.) -- Please put your questions or comments here about "Creator" kits, or the modular buildings. I think I've told everything I know on the Display page. (Hey, we still have some unused wall space at the other end.) Did I miss anything? We have since added a new box inside the cabinet (not shown). Please post your questions or comments about Displaying Lego sets here.
I wish I could get that chandelier to light up! I have an extra battery box (the AA size) and the 2 bulb Lego lights, but it doesn't give enough light. Would love to have internal lighting on all the buildings. Any questions or comments about the Grand Emporium? Post them here.
We have two firefighters in the family, so this one was fun. I enjoyed making extra furniture, the 1940's telephone, and the radio setup. I had to remodel the kitchen with extra tile. And made Tiffany lamps. Used the chef's hat for a pillow on the sofa. -- Post your comments or questions about Fire Brigade here.
If you can't find your Lego subject to ask questions about or comment on, use this post for general comments. We would love to hear from other Lego fans. Thanks.
Just ordered mine, hope it arrives soon. Too bad they didn't include the firehouse as well. I'm guessing they thought we all had enough fire houses already. I'm going to use the rear entrance of Fire Brigade. Would love to hear your comments or questions on the "Ecto-1" model.
There were a LOT of H Potter Lego sets, large and small. Obviously we couldn't (wouldn't) collect them all. We decided to do MOCs of some (like Privet Drive) which looked fairly easy. May still do some more. We would love to hear your questions and comments on Harry Potter, here.
